Villains

I mean… they had a point.

Everyone loves a good villain. I'm no different. Really I don't care how good your main character is but if the villain is bad then... well your movie sucks. But us hating them is sometimes unfounded. Some of them really were in the right or even valid reasons in what they were doing. I'll be arguing for some of the bigger villains out there. I'm not saying what they did was right, but it was understandable... and I might do the same (I'm not joking with some of these)

I'll start with the easiest one. Killmonger. The gold black panther. Either than my personal thoughts about the movie itself (horrible) Killmonger had some points and was cheated. First of all he beat the black off T'challa fair and square in a fight. T'challa lost. He knows it. By law Killmonger was king... and his actions thereafter were the law. What he wanted to do was not unfounded. Although extreme he had a point. Wakanda watched as slaves were taken from Africa... and did nothing. Watch all the plight and did nothing. I imagine they watched the slaves being marched around the force field while chilling on hoverboards, eating popcorn as their fellow men were whipped. Killmongers actions though extreme...weren't unfounded. As I said I don't necessary agree... but I understand. From one angry black man to another.

Cersei Lannister (okay this might only just be me). But this is the best character on Game of Thrones. If you disagree we can go fight really. Filled to the brim with flaws. Has sex with her own brother, kills anyone who gets in front of her way. Selfish. But... it makes sense. You might not agree with what she does but she does it to protect her and her families name and values. She knows if she doesn't her children will be left with nothing and her family name will fall. Ever since Jamie lost his hand, she has carried the load of the Lannister family. The sept was gonna take that away and she protected it. Her methods might not always be agreeable but she does what is good for her family, as do the Starks, the Targaryens and all the other families. And she does it with an air of elegance and beauty.

Ozymandias in Watchmen is a character than blows up the whole of New York, to stop a nuclear war from occurring between Russia and America that would literally destroy the world. The number of nuclear missiles the countries were gonna use would end all life on earth. He sacrifices millions, to save the world. He just blames Mr Manhattan for it and kills Rorschach when he tried to tell the truth. Yeah he had to kill a lot of other people in the process, but it makes sense. He couldn't think of any other way to save a world days from nuclear war and did what he had to do. In this scenario, the ends justify the means.

Thanos is a bit of a tricky one. This one makes me realise he is not the smartest guy out there. I mean killing half of life also kills half the food out there doesn't it? It stops transport of food to some areas cause of the disappearing people making up the system of production and transportation of food. But... his goal was good wasn't it? He had witnessed his own home be destroyed by famine and lack of food and was trying to stop everyone else from going through the same thing. I mean he could have made more food and made more land for people but hey... different strokes for different folks.

All the Animals in horror movies. From the shark in jaws, the anaconda in anaconda, to even Sylvester in The Looney Tunes. Imagine all you were trying to do was eat your supper and now you're the bad guy for some reason. Ludacris. They are literally trying follow what nature says and eat their supper. But are branded as the bad guy and go through a lot from it. They are killed at the end of every movie and we all cheer for this. It is a very sad story to be honest. One of animals literally chilling in their natural habitat and being judged for trying to kill it.

These guys are all just misunderstood when we get down to it... and I'm the voice for these misunderstood heroes... I mean villains.
